Hiking to Fisher's Point with Maci

I guess we are on a hiking kick because this weekend we went out to Fisher's Point. It is very pretty but not steep at all. So, we decided to take Maci - who was a champ at keeping up with us for about 7 miles of hiking.

We took Dustin's dad's Harley motorcycle up Snow Bowl Mountain to get to the start of our hike.

 This is at the top of the peak! It was a perfect day to hike with lots of clouds to keep us cool but very little rain to soak us! :) Lots of FUN!!

Lake Powell Trip - July 8-11

The trip was great fun! On the shore camping we found toads, horny toads, lizards, a tarantula, a scorpion, and a kangaroo rat. The temps stayed nice and cool because of monsoons and we got some wind and rain mixed with sun. We ate out Sunday night and then stayed in a hotel before heading to the lake one last time on Monday before heading home.

HAPT was closed on the 4th of July. We took the puppies to work out with us and this is where they ended up when the boys started stretching.

Summer Redecorating!

Since I have some down time this summer, I reorganized our living room furniture so that it looks and feels more like a real living room. The TV is in a place where you can actually see it from the couches and now it can actually plug into the cable which we pay for each month.

To fill the blank wall where the TV used to be, we ordered this Espresso colored shelf to put our DVD's on and our i Home stereo. We are very happy with the finished product!
