Gifts for the Baby!!

A few weeks ago, Dustin's clients/grandma and grandpa Flin's realtor gave us this cute little pink ensemble. It is long sleeved, long pants, and a little hat which will be perfect for her October arrival.

Next up, Aunt Ally sent us a wonderful care package to make a beauitful mobile that was inspired by one in the Pottery Barn store. I made that this week and am very pleased with how it turned out! Aunt Ally Rocks!! :)

Lastly, mommy couldn't help it and bought this ONE outfit for little girl! I saw it on sale at Marshall's and loved the little sweater that went with it! Adorable!

And of course grandma and grandpa Flin made a BIG purchase for the little girl - the travel system! I just don't have that up here yet!

Week 22

I know this is a little late, but this picture was actually taken on the Tuesday that began week 22. I just didn't get to post it on the blog until now :)



El Villa Mirage Mini Vacation!

We arrived at the resort at 1 PM and they let us check in early! We quickly made lunch, got in our swimsuits, and enjoyed catching some rays for a few hours! Then we cooked dinner and headed downtown Scottsdale for the Thursday night art walk! We ended the night by sharing a mint chocolate chip shake at teh Sugar Bowl.

We slept in on Friday and then make Ally McMuffins for breakfast :) Then we headed out to the pool! After close to 3 hours relaxing we headed out to Scottsdale Fashion Square to walk around and eat lunch at Paradise Bakery! Yum! Then we went back out in the sun again till dinner time. Right after dinner we went to the resorts Dive-In Movie event. We brought our own popcorn and watched Happy Feet 2 while lounging pool side! Lots of fun!

Saturday we went by the pool for the morning and then headed over to AMC where we watched "What to Expect when Your Expecting." A really fun movie to  watch when you are expecting! We enjoyed it alot! Then we headed home to relax by the shade at the pool since we both got a little red in the morning. We finished the night off with a surprise firework show that a nearby resort put on and we could see perfectly outside on our porch!

We finished off our last day taking a few pictures by the pool and then stopped at Wildflower Bread Company for a brunch on the way out of Scottsdale!

Gotta love being pregnant in the summer time and having to wear swimsuits! I decided to embraced the moment! :)

We had a wonderful vacation and can't wait till our next one in July!! :) :)



It's a ...... GIRL!!!! :)

BABY EVANS IS A GIRL!!!

Here are a few fun pictures that I took on Thursday night before we found out!

Then on Friday we went to North Country and got right in. The ultrasound technician said that I  and our little one were the perfect candidates for an ultrasound and everything was easy to see and read! The spine looked perfect, the heart was working great, and so were the kidneys and the bladder. Everything that was checked looked good! We are so thankful for that! Here are the 5 pictures! :)

These first two are profile shots of our little girl's head! In the first one you can see her hand really well up in the air and in the second picture her hand is up by her face. 

This next one is supposedly how they knew it was a girl and not a boy! I really have know clue how they know and would never be able to figure it out on my own! The little white arrows are pointing to the female reproductive organs and the lack of a male reproductive organ :)

These next two pictures are more full body profile shots! It is so cool to see our little one looking so human like inside of me! It was so SO exciting for both of us!!

This last one was especially fun because the technician knew that Dustin was a personal trainer and said that our little girl was flexing her arm muscle in this one for daddy! She is already ready to keep up with our active lifestyle ;)

Then we proceeded to get some hot pink ribbon to take our revealing picture! :)



Get ready for a little baby Evans girl!! :) She is  thankfully healthy and coming soon!! :)

WEEK 20!!!!

WE HAVE OFFICIALLY ARRIVED AT WEEK 20!!

This is such an exciting week because it marks the half way point of a safe pregnancy thus far AND we get to see our little one during our anatomy scan AND we get to find out if we are having a little boy or girl! Such a wonderfully FUN time!
