Mexico in July :)

It has been almost 2 years since we have been to Mexico and felt the Rocky Point sand between our toes and the Mexico air in our hair! To say the least, we were thrilled to get to be back at Casa Alegre for a mini getaway!

Dustin and Maci wasted no time in sitting down by the ocean and relaxing after getting settled!

We spent our first evening just the 4 of us (including Maci and Baby Girl) watching a beautiful sunset and the pelicans dive bombing for fish!

The next night, we got creative with our photography while waiting for dinner by taking some pictures that I got ideas off of Pinterest for! I love the way they turned out!!

Here is a picture of little Maci all curled up and sleeping in the middle of the day after a few fun bouts of sprinting on the beach!!

And sadly the time to say farewell came all to quickly but we didn't leave before taking one last picture of our family of 3 in front of Casa Alegre before our new addition offically arrives!!

Great time to relax, soak in some sun and moisture from the humid air, and spend time with family!



More Gifts for Baby Girl!!

Amber sent me and baby Evans a care package with a cute Tiger blankie, a bib, an adorable onesie, and she is letting me borrow her Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy book! Very grateful for the generosity and love being shown to us already! :)

THEN... Aunt Ally strikes again with her kindness in giving Baby Girl Evans the most adorable little bows to wear on her head! She bought these to go with the video that her and Chris are so nicely letting us borrow! THANK YOU AUNT ALLY!! :)

Can't wait to use all this stuff when baby girl arrives!

Taking Care of Business :)

Once mom and dad got up here on the 4th of July - we wasted no time before getting to work!

We started with the baby's room!

Dad and Dustin worked hard at taping and painting!

Mom scrubbed the light  socket covers to make them white again!

Putting the light sockets back on to complete the room!

Then we moved on to other things!!

Mom touched up the fireplace with the new green we got!

Dad hard at work cleaning the blinds in our room! He even did BOTH sides of the blinds especially for us :)

I promise that I did some work too!! I just was the only one taking pictures ;)

Week 24!!

Here is my Week 24 update!!
