WEEK 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE MADE IT TO THE DUE DATE!!!!

 

She can some ANY time now - but preferrably SOONER rather than later because I cannot wait to meet our little girl!! :) :) :)

"Today is the day!" I agree and hope the little one knows this too!! :) Can't believe we are SO SO SO close!!

 



Headband fun!

I love little baby girls in headbands and have been on a headband kick. I have bought some things off Ebay and then also have found a website that is great for custom making headbands. But, I needed a place to put all the headbands we already have and the ones I am going to make. Pinterest helped me out and I made this headband holder out of an oatmeal canister! :)

 



Still being blessed!!

Last Friday, Dustin met me at our Dr.'s appointment and told me one of his clients got us a gift. When we went back out to the cars to go home, he made me come over and see. The back of his car was FULL with gifts. The client knew the owner of the Maddie and Mo's Boutique in town that went out of business at the end of September and got us a HUGE load of things! Such a blessing!

 

 

We got lots of clothes, some cute shoes, socks, a shopping cart cover, 2 baskets, an Itzibeen (a electronic tracker for feedings, diaper changes, and naps) and various other items. To say the least, we are very grateful and it was so fun to go through!

 

THEN, Aunt Ally blessed us AGAIN with this adorable plaque with a perfect Bible verse on it for our little girl's room. She even put more time and effort into to to make sure it fits the little one's room after seeing the pictures. THANKS AUNT ALLY!!

 

 

Lastly, one of the new employees at HAPT sent Dustin home with a bag full of goodies last night. We got 2 sleepers, a blanket, some socks, a bunny snuggie, and some pacifiers. We cannot be more grateful for everyone's generosity!

Nursery Pics

Here are some pictures of the almost completed nursery before she comes. We still have to put a picture of her once she is born in the picture frame on the wall and put the letter of her first name (once that is decided) in the scrapbook paper frame! But, besides that, it is DONE! :)

P.S. I changed the blog background to leaves for the fall and pink for the baby girl! :)



WEEK 38!! Almost there :)

I cannot believe that we are already at Week 38 and little baby girl can come any day now! I thought this day would never come! :)

 

 

 



Pumpkin Belly

We bought a pumpkin at the farmer's market today to set outside our door for fall decoration.... and decided to take a few FUN pictures with it first! Enjoy!! :)

 

 

I love fall! I love pumpkins! And I love taking fun and cheesy pregnancy pictures!!



Getting Ready for Baby Girl's Arrival

We have been trying to get things done that need to be done before the little one comes since we are at the point where she could come at anytime :) :) :)

 

 

1) We washed all of the baby stuff in baby detergent so that it is ready for her to sleep on, wear, or be cuddled in. Here is just one of the FOUR loads sitting out on the bed.

 

 

Maci kept jumping up and laying between the two piles of laundry waiting to be washed! She is excited for the baby to come too!! :)

 

2) We got Maci groomed! She looks so prim and proper again!

 

 

3) We installed the car seat base into my car! It seems very secure and wasn't that hard to do!

 

 

4) We got the bassinet a sheet that will fit it's mattress and put the crib bumper on so it is ready to go once we get home with her!

 

 

5) And we wrote a simple birth plan and printed that up to take to the hospital with us so they know what we do and do not want to be done during labor and delivery.

 

IT IS SUCH FUN GETTING SO CLOSE!!
