Our New Place BF (Before Furniture)

This is what our new home looked like before we added any furniture! 

This is the bathroom! We are excited about the drawers to store things in and we actually have a medicine cabinet that opens! The washer and dryer will also be crammed into this bathroom next to the shower! It will be a tight fit but definitely workable!

This is the side angle of the kitchen! The fridge is bigger than our old one, we have a gas stove, and there is way more storage than the last place we were at. We do, however, have less counter space to work on! And we had to buy a cheap step stool so that I can reach things because the cabinets are all really high.

This is the bedroom! the paint color is a light green color that we really like! the bathroom is to the right when you walk in and there is a closet to the left that connects to the living room as well.

And now... for all of ours (especially Maci's) favorite part - THE OUTDOOR AREA!!!

And here is the stream that is mostly frozen now but runs in the spring and summer time and has little frogs and fish in it!

Reliving the college days with NAU football

I helped one of my old college professors from NAU with a research project his past semester. For a thank you, he got Dustin and I tickets to an NAU football game and had a tailgate party before with brautworsts, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and hot chocolate because it was a little chili. We were sitting in the first row at the 20 yard line. It was fun to go back to the good ole' college days.

Maci's New Haircut #2

Maci got her hair cut again this week!! She is shivering all the time without her fur coat! And it doesn't help that it is snowing and cold outside!! :) She appreciates her sweater!

Sunday Afternoon Adventure

Dustin and I were leaving our apartment to run some errands and noticed something that looked like smoke or dust coming out of the dumpster. We walked over to it and it was smoke for sure! We called the property manager while our neighbor called the front office and got a hold of maintenance. Another neighbor called 9-1-1 and soon enough a fire truck came and had gas masks on, sprayed water from the truck, and then eventually had to hook the hose up to the fire hydrant because the smoke just wouldn't stop. They got the fire out safely! It was fun to see the fire fighters in action!

Grand Canyon Railway Birthday Trip
