Due to big changes with work this year, Dustin was able to go on a much longer vacation than work usually allows for. We started off in Oceanside, California spending time with Ricky, Mallory, and Sophia (Ember and Reece got to stay with Mima and Pappy), then headed to Mexico for a week with Richard and Doreen, and ended our trip in Phoenix with Grandma and Grandpa. This long trip was just what we all needed and we are so thankful for this opportunity even if the reason for the opportunity is difficult.
Oceanside, California
Casa Alegre in Rocky Point
Doreen made sure we still had a few Christmas decorations even though far from home. And Sparkle the Elf traveled to Mexico as well :)
Dinner at El Capitan overlooking the ocean
We brought ingredients to make sugar cookies
Dustin's parents took us out to Chef Mickey's as part of our Christmas present. Delicious food.
Ember decorated her bed in her room for Christmas as well
Christmas Eve matching jammies
God provided the most beautiful sunRISE on Christmas morning. What a gift!
Our traditional picture outside the front of the house. Had to get one with Kade in it since we forgot when we went to Mexico in October.
Mesa - Grandma and Grandpa's house
We took the kids to Legoland Discovery Center in Tempe. Grandma and Grandpa came too! It was fun for all with rides, play gyms, 4-D movies, and more
We always love visiting the house with lights and music near Grandma and Grandpa's.
Helping Grandma pick some oranges
Kade got to swing in a swing for the first time. He really enjoyed it!
